Transfers

Pick-up from Kythira airport or the port at Diakofti, and the drive back when you leave.

02

Car hire

Kythira is best seen by car. We book a hire car that waits for you on arrival or is brought to the residence.

03

Boat trips

Days out along the coast with local skippers, to beaches and coves that are hard to reach by road.

04

Local experiences

Walks, meals and visits with local hosts, from the castle at Chora to the waterfall at Mylopotamos.

Services are provided by independent local partners. We confirm the partner, the price and the terms with you before anything is booked.

Getting to Kythira

Two ways to arrive

Kythira sits off the southern tip of the Peloponnese. Most guests fly in from Athens. Others drive through the Peloponnese and take the ferry.

By air

Domestic flights from Athens to Kythira airport take under an hour. We can arrange your transfer from the airport.

By sea

Car ferries cross from Neapoli, in the southern Peloponnese, to the port of Diakofti on Kythira's east coast.
